Between us
by   Zing

There it lies between us,
There it lies between us
A drop of blood- so red.

There it lay between us
A drop of blood so red
A part of me lay dying
From all the words unsaid.

Sleep has played its trick, again
My shatterd soul unfurled
A dream has brought you back to me
For comfort in this world.

I cannot have you anymore
This is my tear's lament
How broken is my heart's desire
My spirit twisted, bent

Our bodies meet in dreams, now
No more the flesh does touch
Our hearts are bound forever
In nightime's tangled crush

My weeping never ceases...
