A Thankful Thought
by natalie roach rhodes

So long since I have tasted the nectar of love
That I am intoxicated with one small sip
My head is spinning and I know not where I am

Marooned on a desolate island
With your breath for my air
Your hair for my pillow
And your love for my nourishment

Come...let me drink from the cup of love once more
Lest I die of thirsty starvation...
