The Moon and Stars
by Brian D Sullivan

If the moon and stars,
should happen to fall,
the world would be alright.
I could sleep all day,
stay awake all night,
and your eyes would light the sky.
If all of the roses,
should wilt to the ground,
there would be no worry at all.
The sound of your voice,
would bring them to life,
they would grow back strong and tall.
If the mountains and the oceans,
should ever fight to use your name,
the peaks would crumble,
the seas run dry,
the earth wouldn't be the same.
So, to make things right, I'd cry the seas full,
rebuild the mountains with my hands.
All for the honor of being with you,
for the honor of being your man...
