Upon this blackened landscape of mine.

I can see the rays, already bright,
Flickering in my kingdom as dark as night.
I see Lord Faith upon his steed of hope,
Felling all the sadness within his scope.

Upon the horizon the future shimmers on,
Bringing happiness, where before lay none.
One day I won`t see through shrouds of hurt and pain,
For the sun will be full in my world again.
