LONELY
by   THIEF OF HEARTS

  To whom it may concern,
   This letter I write
   To explain my demise
  On this, my last night.

I was a lonely old man
Trying to get on with my life
But it was just too hard...
    After losing my wife.

On the day that she died
So did the beat of my heart
We were childhood sweethearts
   That were never apart.

 They say, "Always hold on"
To the dreams in your life
That's why I couldn't let go
All my dreams were my wife.

  So I've left this world
    And this lonely life
   For the place I belong
In the loving arms of my wife.
