He says I'm good
As a person and a friend
But that's all I am to him.

And he thinks it's best.
But why me?
I don't think it's fair
Why can't we have something there?
I like him
And he says he likes me too
So why don't I do?
He's a friend that I can trust
And that's a must
But between us there is more than lust.
The feeling I have when he caresses my skin
It let's me know I can be safe with him
While I'm in his arms.
But why am I alone?
