Love From The Past
I was once so in love
and once so happy,
but I was so young
I never knew i was being a fool.
I've been torn inside
hurt so many times,
but I have grown much stronger,
and have learned so much more.
How can a woman be so lucky?
I would say to myself.
I have fallen in love again,
with the man I've long to be with.
He treats me so good,
He gives to me the world.
Anything I'd ask for,
would always be given to me.
We've spent so many wonderful years
living together in peace and happiness.
In his arms I lay to rest,
and in his heart I tent to live.
He is my love,
He is my life,
He is my husband,
and forever will be.
