Misunderstood
by Jillian June Smith

I must be misunderstood
i really thought we could be with each other again
but you said, "just friends"

Misunderstood, I wish I could
be more than just friends
but you broke my heart
and put 'us' to an end

Now i'm here- still misunderstood
maybe love don't last 4 ever
but i wish we could be together

Now I know it wasn't meant to be
and i only wish you could see...
but if you change your mind
I'll be here 4 u, no matter what you do

Just remember, You put us to an end
and said, "just friends"
take my heart but please don't tear it apart.
