Do you still remember?
I cannot forget
the chill, the thrill
the moment we first met
the nights I spent within your love
now are all I think of
you are the shining sun above
and the rain that falls on me
love and laughter, sweet embrace
the look of joy upon your face
no other can replace
your touch upon my soul
the way you made me whole
now I cry so late each night
I listened to cruel voices
I made foolish, hurtful choices
then I threw away your heart

there is no need to say
that I remember every day
what we could have been
