My Mother, My Friend
My mother is my best friend and also my world,
She is always there; I was mama's little girl.
It was easy for us to talk and have fun, too,
But when I felt down, my mom always knew.
She helped me through my troubled times,
and sometimes I didn't treat her well.
But my best friend was always there,
Through my ups and downs, and when my world fell.
She gave me rules and goals to follow;
We cried together when the pain we could not swallow.
My mom is the best of all mothers out there;
She is my best friend and she shows she'll always care.
