A poem for you
Everyday I think of you,
you're on my mind like something new,
New is always something clear,
Just like the words you tell in my ear,
You tell me you love me and we'll always be,
just as one, you and me,
I pray this is true, I pray it will last,
just like the days I prayed in the past,
I prayed for an angel, of course it was you,
but when I couldn't have you I didn't know what to do,
Now we're together and now I know,
it will last but it won't go by slow,
So take care of my soul, take care of my heart,
just do this and we'll never be apart,
Yet, nothing can express my love that is true,
but I'll start by writing this poem to you!
