If God Had Not Made Mommies
If God had not made mommies
Oh that would be a loss.
No instructions from daddy
“Go ask your mother ‘cos she’s the boss!”
It’s hard to imagine
A world without mom.
No one to teach us right from wrong.
No one to drop the bomb.
No one to protect us
When harm is on its way.
No one to make sure we eat the right things
So we grow from day to day.
There wouldn’t be anyone
To hold us when we’re scared.
No one to guide us when we’re young
So we go through life prepared.
So I’m glad that God made mommies
To help us with His tests.
But I’m especially glad he made mine
‘Cos my mom is the best!
