Mentally Away
by Dustin Manabu Kagawa

"Earth calling, Earth calling."
I can't hear this because I'm falling,
falling out of this world,
falling out of this universe
to a place only visible in a hearse.
Yet I am not dying,
nor should anybody be crying.
Nobody should cry 'cept for one soul,
and that soul is crying with happiness
because of where he will go,
into a new world, a new place
where he will worship your sweet embrace.
But wait... I'm already there...
I've always been there...
I guess that's why I am mentally not here.
