Book
by Dustin Manabu Kagawa

When I look at you- beyond your cover
I see both a friend and a lover.
When I look at your text
I see how I am truly blessed.

When I read you page for page
I see my heart- ever so happy in a rage
to continue and see what's printed next
in your ever so lovely, patronized text.

When I read your every paragraph
I see the times I smiled,
the times you made me laugh.
When I read your every word
a thousand emotions get transferred.

Are you a book I prefer?
My reply is 'no' to this comment
'cause to me this makes no sense
for I don't like to read
and you are something I love- my true love indeed
