I wake up in the morning with you on my mind;
I look to my side and it is you I find
sleeping so peaceful, sleeping so calm,
so I kiss you, and place on your head my palm
then I look up in the sky, I look up in the air
and I thank God for my life, I thank him that you're here-
 here waiting for me when I wake,
and mentally supporting me with every breath that I take
 I look at you sleep, with your cute little snores-
I am in love with you, it is you who I adore
yes it's true I adore you for your looks-
but he who does that is truly a crook
for there is more to you than your cute little face
like your personality and your sweet tender grace-
grace in your thoughts, grace in your actions;
I look at you just once again
as I feel a smile form from deep within
for I know that you will be here regardless of the situation
and I smile as I look at you-with the greatest satisfaction.
