Just Miles
The miles between us are plenty,
but love between us is so much more than we can explain.
The miles between us don't keep us from caring.
We call and write letters all of the time.
"The Miles", we try not to let them bother us.
But today, the miles seemed more and more,
as I call to find he's in the hospital.
"These miles," I think to myself,
"They can't and won't keep us apart,"
With prayers, and God's hands
I know these miles won't be a big thing!
God can and will help him get better,
then these miles can be "Just miles," again!
