LETTING GO
Letting go is always one of the hardest things to do
Loosing someone to love
Just the thought of letting go
It's so painful, that you could never know
People say your heart will mend
I don't know how they comprehend
The way your heart feels from within
I know I wouldn't want to feel this pain again
Because it's a pain that never ends
When 'they' go..
Along with them, they take
A part of me, that is hurting so
A part of me that will never awake
If I could have heard in your tone
If I could have known
That letting go is, like saying good-bye
It's so final, part of you dies
I wonder why this had to be
I want to be able to open my eyes & see
