A Love Letter I didn't give, except to say goodby
I know with all that is within me,
some day you will leave me,
and go chasing dreams on your own.
meeting up with old and dear friends
that you, so, long to be with.
I know about acceptance, and the loss
you feel when longing for the past.
In my life I've learned, that things
weren't so bad, where you were at, and no matter
where you are, I still find myself
looking and longing once again.
for the special moments that only
we shared. All the places had their
meanings and the moments in time.
And with the knowldge, that even
though I'm not there, life has not stopped,
I can go on making new memories, to long for,
and new friends, that become old and dear, to
share them with.
I wish you all the love and the best
with your life.
And I will take the longing
that I will feel for a long time
after you have gone and I will
hold them dear to my heart- always.

my life that I wouldn't trade
