of the warmth it feels, because of the fire
you have lit deep within my soul...
How, when we first met, it melted, when
I saw your smile... felt your touch...and,
with a kiss so tender, it skipped a beat...
Remembering how it raced, knowing of
your return... hearing your footsteps and
the knock on the door...

how heavy it felt when I had to leave...
how it ached for your touch...
Now, when you call... just hearing your
voice, my heart feels so much love for

It's funny... it has been so long since it
