I miss you

I miss the scent of your cologne,
that smell that often left
a trace on my shirt
after being in your arms.

I miss your gorgeous smile,
the one you always gave me
each time I looked
into your eyes.

I miss your tender touch,
the one that made me feel
as though you would
protect me from harm.

I miss your loving words,
the ones you always said
to make my bad days
turn to good.

But most of all, I miss you,
the one I still
care about
more than I can say.
