A Special Valentine
Make clearer my feelings, this poem will do
I would give up anything just to be with you.
Keli, I'm telling you that person is me
Your special valentine, is who I wish to be
I felt shy, what was I gonna do
About how I felt? and never telling you
If one word describes me best, it's gotta be shy
But, I can't help it; I'm just that kinda guy
Too good to be true, is how I thought it would be
For someone like you to like someone like me
Only someone special could do what you've done
Someone special to me, you are that one
How much I think about you would be a surprise
Who could forget those pretty brown eyes?
Soft, warm, sweet lips, beautiful brown hair
Some days I can't help but to stop and stare
With your personality, you truly are a shining star
One that outshines anyone else by far
When I'm with you, I love everything you do
And when you're not around, I'm always missing you
Reading you this on Valentine's Day
Wondering just what would you say
If I asked you, "will you be mine?"
Forever and ever, my sweet valentine
