The Northern Sky
Can you imagine a rainbow under the stars?
The mottled colors and shining light
Reflecting your holy visage.
The eternal night and light brilliantly
Looking for a purpose.
May I enter your heavenly graces?
Or am I dreaming?
Life’s poetry beckons me to the Northern Sky
Where you watch the procession of your fellow angels.
Desire pushes me to you, yet confusion hinders me.
How may I puncture your outer shell?
How may I melt your heart?
Will you allow me to meet you in the Northern Sky?
Please tell me what angels beckon me to you.
If I kiss you under the Northern Sky, will you shy from me?
Would I be too rash? Would you forgive me for past errors?
Do I surprise you too much? If so, please forgive me.
So many questions, and so much confusion only to feel love.
The Northern Sky holds your image in my soul.
Close as your breath, yet farther than the sun.
Oh, how I desire to join you in Heaven.
Will you let me into your Queen-dom of stars?
May I feel the soul of your Northern Sky
Finally flood me with reciprocated passion?
Or do I ask too much?
Questions boggle me, emotions flood me.
I only wish to join you in the Northern Sky.
Please forgive me for any inconveniences.
