I thought it was the
rainbow I wanted.
I found it was
really the rain.

For as rainbows can
contain joy,
Rain washes
away the pain.

I thought it was
the heat I wanted,
But, I was just
tired of being cold.

I found that what
I really wanted,
Was someone
just to hold.

I thought it was
a smile I wanted.
To bring "old"
joy to my heart.

I found that
what I really wanted,
Was just
a brand new start...
