Off He Goes
A final moment
I look at his face and tears fill my eyes
I know this moment will be our last
He tells me it's not true
I simply can't believe him
As I always have before
He walks away
And never returns
My hearts will feel the pain of this moment
For all time
Off he goes
I am a memory to him now
At least he didn't forget me
