A Poem For You
The day I cried over you
Was when I lost half my soul
Didn't think it'd be this soon
You weren't even that old
It was hard to see you laying there
Though you didn't look in pain
I had a dream before, that night
That you had passed away
Walked out of the room
And saw a family in tears
I knew right then that you were gone
My body flushed with fears
Fell to my knees
Couldn't see a thing
Except an indent in the floor
That formed from my ring
A dark scary environment
That surrounded all around
The only thing that I could do
Was lay upon the ground
It came to the day
That I would see you later
The memories that I pictured
Of you and I, the past
I wished that you could hear
A ton of people in the chapel
washing off their tears
I look at the stars
When I'm outside at night
Hoping you are glancing back
As I want to hug you tight
The thought came into picture
about this Saturday
Not because it's my party but
That's the day you passed away
I wish you could come back to me
But no one will grant my wish
The day you held me in your arms
Was my favorite gift
