Thank You
Lying awake on my bed at night
I ask God, "Is this love,
Is this true love?"
How do I know?
What will tell me?
Will You give me a sign?
I shut my eyes,
And I get this wonderful felling inside.
It's in my toes,
It's on the tips of my fingers.
It moves through my arms and legs.
I feel it in my mind.
It's carved in my heart,
And etched on my soul.
I can't rid myself of it,
Although I don't know why I'd try.
It's the greatest feeling in the world.
It makes me want to cry.
They wouldn't be tears of sadness,
Because joy is all you bring to me.
They would most certainly be tears of happiness,
Because you're the one I want to see.
I will not be happy
Until I see you.
No matter what happens during the week,
That's all I want to do.
You've made me so happy,
I don't know what to do,
You've given me something great,
And I just want to say "Thank You"!
