Words are simple things,
often taken for granted.
Hearing "I care", though,
can change your day.
Through the good,
and through the bad,
words are often all we have
to express what is felt
year 'round, but only
said when we think it's
needed most.
You may feel alone,
you may not yet be able
to see beyond today.
