I Runied Everything
"John, you ruined everything!"
I did.
She was right.
I did ruin
Everything.
You see
Due to my background and
Rogue like appearance
I was supposed to be a
"Very Dangerous Man."
But once she got to know me
She realized that I had my
Head on straight and
Heart in the right place.
And, even worse yet, I
Cared about her.
Mind you, she knew that I was
Seeing someone, as well was her.
But...
I respected my mate enough to
Break up before fooling around.
She knew that too.
She knew I would not
Sneak around on a woman even if
I know things may not work out.
She later found out that I would not engage in
Ex-Bashing.
She even found out that I had
Fallen in love with her, but
Would not actively pursue her because she was
Living with someone else.
I told her how I felt.
I stopped the flirtation and told her
"Lynn, things are getting serious, and
I really care about you and
Here is this poem that shows how I feel, and

I killed the intrigue
I ended the chase
I told her I cared
I told her I only wanted
One thing;
"I just want to hold you in my arms."
In short, I stopped
Hunting for sex and instead
Gave an offer of love.
Since she is afraid of a loving
Relationship,
I guess I ruined
Everything.
And now that she is married to that guy,
you know, The One She Is Using For Security
And
I am no longer pining away for her
I have shown my maturity by
Marrying someone I care about and
Daring to stay married and stick it out
She hates me.
If looks could kill I would have
Died in many glare-by shootings.
Her beautiful eyes tell me "John you are
NOT allowed to move on!"
She hates me because she knows now we will
Never have our fantasy.
By ending my ridiculous worship of her I have
Also
Ruined
Everything.
