It's Valentine's Day
and I'm all alone...
Left here to toil in my thoughts,
and drown myself in the sadness of my heart.
It was not long ago
you held me close...
and the love we shared
burned deep within our souls.
But now that love has withered away,
leaving me alone on Valentine's Day.
The memories are alive
as if it was only yesterday...
when you gazed into my eyes,
and I knew your love was true.
When I gazed into your eyes,
I saw into you heart.
A heart now turned to stone,
on Valentine's Day...
has left me all alone.
No hand to hold...
no romantic love letters to unfold.
No pretty roses, or stuffed teddy bears.
The kisses, the laughter, the happiness we shared...
are only memories now...
