Death, Family, Friends, and Lies.
by SamanthaCollins
Yesterday I had friends,
All my life I had a brother,
Today I am alone,
How did it happen?
I ask myself,
Then I get an answer,
   Death, Death,
   That's how.

I have feelings,
They can be hurt,
Today I found them,
Hurt and destroyed,
How did it happen?
I ask myself,
Then I get an answer,
   Freinds, Friends,
   That's how.

I like my friends,
I thought they were great,
But today they are enemies,
Each and every one,
How did it happen?
I ask myself,
Then I get an answer,
   Brothers, Brothers,
   That's how.

I trusted my Brother,
I loved him, too,
Now he is just,
Someone I knew,
How did it happen?,
I ask myself,
Then I get an answer,
   Lies, Lies,
   That's how.

Now I am alone,
Forgotten and unloved,
Hurt and destroyed,
Just me, myself, and I,
How did it happen?
I ask myself,
Then I get an answer,
   Death, Death,
   That's how.
