Different Worlds
by TamaraBerylLatham
They share no thread of commonality
Except their sparkling eyes
His reflect the spectrum of the azure moon
And hers, the hazel sun

Light dances all around them, through them, touching them
Yet, they remain dipoles of the universe
If the world stopped its revolutionary course,
Even for an instant,
Perhaps they'd meet
Where opposite ends of the spectrum converge

And as unlike charges touch
They spill molten lava
Blending in an electrifying instant
A love so great
That time itself
Ceases to exist
