Death Of Love
by TaraO'Connor
If I were to die would you even care
Would you miss the tomorrows we never got to share
Would you come and mourn my death
Knowing that I loved you even as I took my last breath
Would the thoughts of me slowly become a blur
Or are there some memories you would hold onto forever
Would your bright blue eyes shed a tear
And would they be real or simply insincere
And when you see me laid out in full view
Would you know in this life and beyond I will always be
   in love with you
Would you remember me as a friend or as your true love
Or maybe you would think of me as none of the above
And when you look up at the stars in the sky
Would you remember that there's one named for you and I
Would you come visit me and say a prayer
Or would my name etched on a headstone be more than you
   could bear
Would you know that you were the only one for me
And what brought us together was more than fate, it was
   destiny
Maybe you wouldn't know this because you left me way before
   I died
But know this, even in death I will always be by your side
