I miss you every day.
From early in the morning,
Till night, when I start to pray.
The first thing in the morning,
there's nothing I can say.
Can't put my arms around you,
you are too far away.
I walk around my mountain,
then I get a little tear.
It could be a better place,
if only you were here.
Comes the middle of the day,
as I finish my book.
But you're not here beside me,
no matter how hard I look.
Then I go out to eat,
at a place we both should go.
But I eat there, all alone,
with people I don't know.
Now comes the hard part,
when it's time to go to bed.
I dream of you beside me,
but it's only in my head.
