Rain
by JorgeCampos
The rain
continues to pour,
I can't take
it anymore.

It's been 18
long years
of constant
miserable tears.

I'm still soaked
to the bone,
while being
all alone.

When will this
storm stop?
This liquid
continues to drop.

I want to feel
the crash
of a sunshine
splash.

But the rain
creates a flood,
filled with tears
and blood.

I'm trapped in
the devil's paradise,
as it begins
to rain ice.

But I know
I will prevail.
Sprinkles of light
will unveil.
