Nothing Changes
by AnitaBlake
The past lies before me, ever present.
A wall of sorrow and unforgivenes, whispering to me.

Harsh angry sounds, time never forgets.
This life on an unknown path... ever hiding, ever afraid.

Tides of regret merge with what is,
Accepting the inability to change.

In the end, defeat is all that remains.
Unable to combat this reality, I turn away... ashamed, hopeless.
