Twisted Heart
by RandyLongoria
     Heart's will mend,
     minds and thoughts will bend
what we are to do is "our" decision
     written poems and written letters
we've read and felt nothing to make us feel better

Why we both punish each other no one may know
but problem and heartbreaks caused you to let go

You went your way and I went mine
soon I would learn both our minds would be filled
      with deception and aggression
while your heart filled with compasion mine grew hollow

I based my world around you never thinking that would be wrong
while many times you pushed me away I came back meaning to stay

I meant not to bring you harm but somehow see that charm
wicked as you think you are I am not all there by far

I once loved you with the strongest care
lived in a love sick emotion night and day
while I fantisided you made me realize you did not see us
      that way
I await for myself to be recollected

Even though I am not a strong figure in your life it bothers me
that you have someone by your side as your still beautiful
this I will not say in denial

If all this is a lie to you ask yourself why
I will never forget how we were and never hurt you by saying
                  GOODBYE!
