Untitled
by Doug Roberson
Does it well within you, as me,
  this wicked, bright intensity?

Is there a crying laughter in you now,
  the weepy joy that I have found?

Can you hear me within your dream,
  as, at night, I hear my queen?

What of longing within your breast,
  the fondest ache that swells my chest;

Do the depths now inside your heart
  burst asunder and fall apart?

This is what I feel, it startles me...
  Do you feel this sweet misery?
